Sadly, we were disappointed. General Tso's sauce was heavy and the chicken a little dry. Crab rangoons had very little cream cheese/crab mix. Pot stickers a bit doughy, too thick for my preference. Would not go back again.

I ordered from here often when I was working on the west side of town. I love that they deliver and that they are very well priced. I didn't realize I was getting enough food for 4 people and I am not kidding, it was enough for 4 people. I spent under 20 dollars and had food for 2 days. *this was the first time I ordered, ever since then my order was a little smaller.* Fantastic Wonton Soup. I am very picky when it comes to Wonton soup and this place does make a good W.S.

The food was good. And very fast! But the delivery guy was sketchy and when I asked my total he told me $4 more than what it was. He wanted to keep it as a tip, but I didn't realize n I gave him a $3 tip already. So the guy got a $7 tip from me.. If he's ever the delivery guy again, no tip for him!! Hes a lie and a cheat

You might think that those hole-in-the-wall Chinese takeout places are all the same. You might be right with 99% of Green Bay's cheap Chinese joints, but when it comes to Mayflower, they are head and shoulders above the competition. The food is consistently tasty, always fresh and the service is extremely fast. This is so good that we regularly will drive across town for takeout, bypassing at least ten similar joints along the way. I really struggled with how many stars to give Mayflower. Compared to their competitors, they should probably get four stars, but as a dining experience, they're a solid three. This is not a bad rating, of course, but very much aligns with Yelp's suggestion of "A-OK". They are definitely a thumbs up kind of place, as long as the diner goes in with the expectation that they are not getting necessarily authentic or unique Chinese food, simply the best in class of "Cheap Chinese". Honestly, that should be its own sub-genre of Chinese food. If you're in the mood for "Cheap Chinese", hit the Mayflower. The food may not impress you but you won't be disappointed either.

yes, 5 stars.. I'm slightly embarrassed to admit that I eat here, on average, twice a week. It's pretty bad when they recognize your phone number when you call. Mayflower is a "typical" chinese takeout place -they just do it better than everyone else. Don't go for the atmosphere - it's a hole in the wall type place. Personally, I like that. The places that go out of their way to look authentic usually are the furthest thing from that. The food speaks for itself. I'm not a "I'll have the usual" guy - I get different menu items just about every time (though I do have favs). It's always hot, fresh, perfectly seasoned & spiced, & awesome. I always smile when I call & hear "mayfrowa, how may I hewup you?" and how whether you order 1 item or 20, it's always ready in "bout fitteen minute". Trust me on this one, Mayfrowa doesn't disappoint.

Favorite Chinese place in the area! Friendly staff but most of all great food. I love how the sauce is light and the egg drop soup is great. Priced very reasonable.

Dirty place! Wow, clean the damn chairs and tables! The food was edible, nothing special... It's your typical America version of Chinese food cooked by, sadly, Chinese. And get rid of the cheesy decoration!! What is this, Christmas!!??

Everyone who has reviewed this place has been beyond generous. This place is dirty. D-I-R-T-Y. The second I walked in I was bombarded with a greasy smell, the floors were sticky, and piles of little dead black flies surrounded all the windows. All the positive reviews that had persuaded me to come disappeared, I completely lost my appetite. If this is the best take-out Chinese place in town I don't think I'll ever be going to another one while I'm here. Now moving onto my instant diarrhea... We started out with the fried potstickers. They were WAY too thick and doughy. The fillings were OK, but it was hard to appreciate them with the massive amounts of dough surrounding them. I had the chicken and broccoli. The chicken had absolutely no flavor, which was weird because it was slathered in sauce. The broccoli was nice and fresh, which was a pleasant surprise to say the least. It came with yellow fried rice that had bits of very old and chewy pieces of pork and beef. The only thing fresh in the rice appeared to be the onions and carrots. The only reason this gets 2/5 instead of 1/5 is because the man who took our order was friendly and sweet. For the price range, the quality was not up to paar. We will not be back.

Food is awesome. Very reasonable prices. My favorites are chicken and egg fried rice.

Before this incident I always called ahead and then picked up the food so I never saw this, but after this incident I can't Order there knowing they don't wash their hands. I placed an order to go and I paid cash. The cashier grabbed my cash gave me change and right after that without washing his hands he grabbed my crab ragoons and placed them on the frier. That's just nasty and unprofessional.

My husband ordered food for delivery . It took almost an hour . Food was missing from order . I call them and they tell me I get them the next time I order . Then I complain and they bring what was missing 45 minutes later . I will never again go there .

Best Chinese food that delivers in Green Bay.

Consistently decent Chinese take-out that aims to please. Mayflower is not a knock-your-socks off kinds of place, but when looking for Chinese take-out or delivery, they are my favorite in Green Bay. I've seen them take pre-made spring rolls out of a frozen box, but I can't really complain about that. I would prefer the better spice mustard some Chinese restaurants serve, but it's not a deal breaker for me. Shrimp is a decent size, chicken is good too.

We were driving through Wisconsin from Chicago and thought we'd try some Chinese from green bay. Honestly it's okay food, though I wouldn't go back again. The food we had was extremely salty and and the flavors were way off from what we are used to in Chicago. Maybe it's just us though.

Even though this is more like a fast-food restaurant, it is one of the better Chinese restaurants in the area. Some of the menu items are hit or miss. Love the LoMein, Shrimp in Lobster Sauce. Pass on the 3 Treasures? It's a great delivery place, too. And very affordable. If you want a good sit down place go to Chef Chu's.

The food was good. The bathrooms not so much. I was in the ladies. I didn't dare tell my boyfriend how the bathrooms looked. The food was good. Probably will not go there again though. We were originally going to go next door to the Lotus, but they are closed on Mondays.

I used to order from Mayflower often, until the time I watched a "chef" use the restroom and leave without washing his hands. In fact, he had just flushed and was zipping up as he opened the door. Perhaps he washed his hands elsewhere but I'm not prepared to take that chance. The food was serviceable but I shudder to think what other health code violations are occurring there.

Best Chinese food in the area, not a sit-own type of place. Just walk in, order your food, take it home, (or get it delivered). Eat wonderful for four days, usually for under $9. Perfect.

Consistantly decent food, they always lie on the time it'll take to deliver and show up a good 20+ before the estimate. :) Nice folks too, they never slow down!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
